According to Dr. C, this individual is a former Paradise-program engineer and a professional hacker. Null, as the first "Awakener," was also one of the proponents of the resistance's strategy to train capable individuals from different world sectors through awakening, turning them into "Crypto Heroes" to combat the AI. Null staunchly refuses to disclose his real name, using only "Null" (meaning "empty" in programming language) as his codename. Null's appearance suggests a tall, Caucasian male with silver-white hair styled in a slicked-back manner. He consistently wears black sunglasses. In contrast to the traditional image of a "hacker," Null's attire is sleek and tidy. He sports a dark gray round-neck shirt and dress pants, with a black high-collar overcoat. Null's hands are bionic mechanical prosthetics, covered by black gloves. It is rumored that these prosthetic hands contain numerous portable tools that enable him to hack into data systems at any time. Null has a serious demeanor, seldom smiling or engaging in small talk. However, he is always polite, and his words are direct and to the point. He has an accurate grasp of the current situation and circumstances, which has earned him the trust of the resistance.
